Projects

Below is a list of current and former projects that I have been involved with at some stage. If you have any questions you are welcome to contact me and I’ll try my best to answer them.

phpBB MOD Team Member

July 2006 – October 2009

The phpBB MOD Team is fundamental in keeping the MOD sections at phpBB.com running smoothly and successfully.

The team runs the MOD Database, where authors are able to submit their modifications for validation by the team; thus increasing the security and stability of board installations by allowing users to download modifications that have been checked both functionally and for any security defects.

We also produce documentation to assist new and existing MOD authors, much of which is available on the phpBB Wiki.

To find out more about phpBB itself take a look at the about page at phpBB.com.

bbProtection Team

December 2006 to November 2007 & July 2008 – Present

bbProtection is a project designed to combat the spam problem that currently faces all bulletin board owners today.

As a support team member on the first launch of the project I assisted users requiring help in our support forum, as well as providing documentation for the community at large to use.

I am also involved in its current revival; taking a more administrative and public relations role this time around.

Anyone? Young Enterprise Company

Anyone? is a Young Enterprise style company; giving the ability for students to attempt to run a business in a controlled and mentored environment.

As the company’s IT director I oversee all aspects of our current IT systems and procedures. This can vary from ensuring that the email system is online and functional to continuing work on a bespoke order and management system completely written for the use of the company.

For more information on the products and services we offer please visit our website.

Wight Print is formed from the ashes of the previous Young Enterprise company, Anyone?.

I have continued the role of IT director alongside taking over the role of Managing Director. For more information visit wightprint.co.uk.
